    hey guys,

does anyone know a way how to delete a backup manager but keep the games installed? it happened 2 times to me that I lost my games because of deleting backup manager, could I just swap the folder out and reinstall it and after that install a new one and swap the games over again? does that work?

thanks for your help, and please stick that.

just use Comgenie's Awesome Filemanager, V0.06 to make a new folder and copy the games to it.

    or

use blackb0x FTP Server V1.2 and copy them to your computer.

Copying an entire game collection can take a very long time.

It is better to just 'Move' the game collection into a newly created folder in the root directory of the drive, as supported by the latest Filemanager version. This is a superfast operation compared to copying, but has the same basic effect. When you then deinstall the backup manager, which also deletes its subfolders for games, this will not affect the new folder to which you moved your games.

Do you mind to give a bit more information about doing this move procedure and creating a new folder at the root?

I want to uninstall Backup Manager v1. and install Open Manager without loosing the games I have copied to the internal drive.

What program do I use to do the move? And how do I create a folder at the root?

I just tried to do this with comgenie file manager but I couldnt create a new folder at the root. Am I suppose to install Open Manager to be doing this?

    Thanks for any help.

You just move the GAMEZ folder from the LAUN12345 folder to elsewhere with the comgenie file manager 0.06 (now: ...games/LAUN12345/GAMEZ/, after you move it should be ...games/GAMEZ f.e.).

Am I suppose to install Open Manager to be doing this?
    No.
