Could you transfer PS3 Blu-Ray games to a disc via PC Blu-Ray drive? –
At the moment, I've been putting my games on to my hard disk by using OpenBackupManager - and making a copy of the directory onto a USB drive. I know some games have files bigger than 4GB, but I've not run into any so far.
Would I be able to copy the games to my USB drive using a blu-ray reader in my PC, and then to USB, then copy them to the internal HD using the file manager? The reason I ask is I've heard talk about the Blu-Ray drive wearing out - or is that a load of cobblers, and am I worrying over nothing?
No it won't work when launched..
no, as far as i understand when you read data off ps3 bd drive under game os priviledges, it's being transparently decrypted by the ps3 or its drive firmware.
so copying data off pc will give you different files than doing that on ps3.
i think there is a game ripping app for pc... have look for it and let us know...
No, there is no such program. Anything you try to copy from PC will be encrypted.
