i am having a problem were over 100GB of my 500GB HDD are missing and last time this happened i needed to reformat and i was on OFW 2.xx of some kind. can you just reformat in rogero or do i need to down grade 1st, or is there a solution as i have 460GB once it is all formatted with about 436GB clean install but now i only have 300GB used in dev_HDD0 and it says the HDD is completely full.

I know u need to downgrade your console if you wanna change your hard drive but for formatting your hard drive i dont think downgrading is needed.

It sounds like you've put your HDD in a sort of partition.
I'd downgrade just to be safe because it will ask for you to install FW and if if comes up corrupt you could be in trouble.
    Better safe than sorry.
