    hi all ...
i just thought of that when i got Headache looking for a quick way to move some (data) with +4giga file from m frnd pc to my home ps3 ! ... and our only solution that time is an external hdd with fat32 format contain allot of good stuff, so we can't reformat it with ntfs to copy that data with multiman's fileman to internal hdd ... so, i though if we have a winrar app in ps3, we can just copy rar parts (~1 giga) normally with fat32 hdd we have and every thing gonna go easily and quickly

Hmm.. I guess you could use Linux, although IMO that's a pain to install.
    Have you consider using FTP?
You can get much higher transfer speeds than USB.
It's kind of awkward transfering things like videos though since the PS3 doesn't just have 1 simple folder to store all your videos.
    It's fine with games/roms though.

I created a folder called VIDEOS. It contains folders with movies in it. I can browse the folders with Showtime. I put the video's in the folder with FTP using multiman. I don't see what's awkward with that?

I think you can detect an ntfs drive in multiman. Isn't that better than rarring?
