well no i wouldnt think it would be, it is acutally better for the ps3, since its not using your laser for the hours that you play the game it using the hdd.
yeahh, but it could be over using the hdd and over heating the system at the same time couldnt it?
well no since when you play a game anyway of the disc it is still using the hdd as well. i wouldnt worry about it most hdd are pretty robust
kool, im planning on getting a 500gb WD SATA II for my ps3 now, this 80gb one isnt good enough now lol..
Well think of it this way, you are playing/can play PSN games for hours off the harddrive so if that's not harmfull then playing the backups won't be. :)
