    Just do it via FTP. Quicker imo.

    im trying to do the same i tried ftp but 1 file is 6.98gb and i need to "split" it so i can ftp it....

    ok you use safeimg01, once split, how to you copy files over to ps3, and how does then the ps3 know how to put merge files together. please.

    i have files over 4gb that i want to split and send over to ps3 via usb stick then put all files baack together

    You need to use a manager that supports putting split files back together. Managers that support this are: MultiMan, moh's Open Manager, Open Manager 2.1x (where x is, is the release their up to. Think the last one was I), Rogero's manager, or Gaia.
