    +1 mine will be delivered on Thurs, can we use this tutorial for the MAX AVR USB? specs say:

    "The Max AVR USB board is a low-cost demonstration board based on the AT90USB 16kb microcontroller."

    ::EDIT::

    Looks like it has "AVR-USB-162" and it looks like this tutorial will work (correct me if i'm wrong). Also, psgroove needs to be patched to run backup manager? Do these hex files this tutorial is pointing to have that patch? Also, the hex file attached here is good for all boards listed above is it the same as "PSGROOVE-PATCHED-ATAVRXPLAIN.hex". Thanks

    Managed to flash my AT901287 USB Dev Board correctly (I think), but I am having problems using the Backup Manager.

    Whenever I attempt to backup my own ORIGINAL game to my internal Hard Drive after the backup has been completed and I press load on the backup manager software the PS3 menu doesn't display the game itself, only the game in the disc drive.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    Is it a patched backup manager we need? or patched hex file? to use backup manager properly? I think psgroove open source project was released with backup manager disabled.

    Thanks, this guide really helped.

    It wouldn't connect via USB to start with, turns out I have a AT90USB162 once I selected the correct device from the list everything worked well.

    If anyone can't get there USB to attach, make sure to try all the devices starting with AT90USB, it worked for me.
