3D Dot Heroes and Lua Hacking –
I noticed something very interesting about the game. Nearly all events and interactions are scripted in Lua, which would make the game very easy to hack and make new campaigns for, or perhaps even separate games using the engine would be possible. I know from reading through some of the files that the mini games used in the actual game are created from Lua files, so we should be able to replace them with whatever we want.
Now the only things we need to do is to document what Lua commands are available and to make the game direct boot. I'm looking into doing the direct boot right now by myself. Is anyone else interested in such a project?

The game doesn't use those lua files, you can delete them and still start a new game and play without a problem. But they are in the eboot.bin, I tried modding it but unself for windows doesn't work right now (Don't want to install linux). With a good eboot.elf of the game you could probably mod any event in the game. Ex: you can change how much time is needed to win the dash game and also change what you win. Then rebuilt eboot.bin with geohot make_self for his 3.55 CFW, use the trick used for GT5 or wait for a working makeself.
