It's ok to remove the ipod after JBing right?
Made by Belmondo:
the best that you are going to get right now is, hopefully in a few days HermesV4 will be out with all these changes
HermesV3WaninkokoPKG which allows retail pkg install, which i complied here for ipod nano and tested i have a ipod nano.
http://psx-scene.com/forums/553722-post539.html (RELEASE: RockBox-PSGroove Installer 2.0| Plug-In Creator 1.0)
and then use a patched Mathieulh OM1.6 to allow games to run with retail patches
MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
source for Modified OM1.6 megaupload link

hope this helps
I'd like to confirm if what I am experiencing on my PS3 is how it should be:
1. I see two icons under the Game menu. They are: (* = Star)
a. */app_home/PS3_GAME/ -- when I try to open this I get an error: (80028F14) -- Update: Silly me, I just realized what the directory: */app_home/PS3_GAME/ is for. I loaded a game through Open Manager 1.16 and when I was sent back to the XMB I pointed to that directory and it loaded the game--without the need to have an original BD Game in the console! Pretty cool!!
b. * Install Package Files
2. When I open the "Install Packages Files" it seems to show two identical pkg files whenever I want to install something form my USB stick. Is this normal?
3. Is it OK to install more than one type of Backup Manager, like having both Backup Manager v2 and Open Manager? -- as long as they both point to the same GAMEZ directory?
I am using a PS3 320GB Slim (latest model) and I am using a Photo Ipod 60GB with Rockbox + PSGroove.

I have removed mine and it still works.
No its not normal. You probably have 2 of the same pkg's on your USB drive, I am thinking.
Yes its ok, I have Open Manager 1.16 and Backup Manaager 1.0 on mine.3. Is it OK to install more than one type of Backup Manager, like having both Backup Manager v2 and Open Manager? -- as long as they both point to the same GAMEZ directory?

Just make sure you don't delete them when you want to update or you will lose your games.
Just update and overwrite them.
Thanks for your reply and support.
No, I don't have the same PKG twice. I wonder if reinstalling PSGroove to my iPod may help?
Thanks. Good advice. I would hate having to lose my games on the HDD.Yes its ok, I have Open Manager 1.16 and Backup Manaager 1.0 on mine.

Well if your sure you have separate pkg files on your USB, then install them both and see if its the same or not. It won't hurt anything.
Yes it is cool to be able to load games in Open Manager 1.16 without disc in console.
Thats why I use it and still have Backup manager 1.0 on mine instead of V2
