I recommand you to reinstall iPL.
ok I have reinstalled and I tried editing the loader.cfg so it only had rockbox and psgroove but it still only shows the apple os, disk mode and sleep so the ipl loader isn't reading the loader.cfg...that file is in the root of the ipod.
This is the reason why ipl loader shows these only three options
When you install ipl loader.
Then eject your ipod.
It does not look for the loader.cfg
It first detects the file system, then the mbr, then the loader.cfg
If one of these tasks are not done correctly
It will show only three options no matter what
The only way to fix it is to restore my/your ipod
It does not work if you reformat your ipod
Ok I got it working by restoring, now I'm trying to get the apple os to load and it just goes back to the ipl loader, how can I get it to work? do I have to put the firmware files in the ipod root?
Will get my iPod mini soon. Very excited
excited yes but it will disappoint you more as you cant play sf4 or f1 as open manager is not supported.
Hopefully the new Hermes version (would be awesome if it was supported by the ipod/rockboxx combo) Would fix alot of compatibility.
Thanks Accurakid and Danyl, you guys are awesome.
Infact I just got around to finishing my first backup last night, it was working and all that, Hoping to see if Infamous and Demonsouls can be played (Deadrising 2 won't work because of hermes v1)
Yeah! I see in the headlines that the PSFreedom compatible with 3.01 and 3.15 firmwares is now ported to PSGroove.
I'm on 3.01 ATM and have an Ipod nano 1G, can I do anything to help in getting PSGroove moving with 3.01 and 3.15?
I would love to volunteer my time to help in anyway possible.
@ashvanale youre wrong im playing dead rising 2 no probs using ipod nano 1g.
The only problem games are the ones with controller issues, F1 & SF4. Cant get it to work no matter what i do. Danyl any ideas or updates?
With the default hermes payload that came with Rockbox?
Mind if i pm you on what programs and how you did it?
i'm using a 5th gen ipod vid, very lovely indeed.
