Yea, I just wanted to make sure I can test in on this Ps3 I got here without perma changing anything, since its not mine heh xD

I feel like im missing a step here tho - I used your original steps, not the easy - so I didnt have the packages, so I went in and sniped the 4 package files outa the v2 folder, tossed them on the root of my Ipod. So now... debug mode -> install packages? or is there something in the middle Im missing to actually... "jailbreak" it?

its just basically start the PS3 in debug then when its in debug restart the iPod and select "Disk Mode" or Apple OS i used Disk Mode it would look like nothing happened but it lets you use the ipod as a flash drive or access the root folder. then go to PS3 install package folder and you should see the manager.pkg in there.

sry idk how to compile it i just used the files offered here and made a simple installer, but u can offer the files (upload them and post them here) and see if anyone can compile for you, but if you post the links for the files here i will try and see if i can help out in any way.

wait you were trying to compile the files that has psgroove for your supported device right? and all you have to do is compile it? or do you need to edit some things?

not sure m8 i have mrobe 100 its compat with multi device (i think) i dont know how to compile or patch i want to use bm and ps groove with this device, i tried learning how to compile bit compicated for me i want some one to take my mrobe rockbox folder and do all the compiling and patching ready for drag and drop sorry i know im a noob.

I'm trying to jailbreak my ps3 with firmware 3.41 since a few hours with my apple ipod video.

The ipod is a video with 30 GB. I don't know if it is a 5.0 or 5.5 one.

I used the EasyInstaller Download v1.2 from Aznkidd235 and every thing seems to work fine.

If I start the ipod i can choose PSGroove at the bootloader and the rockbox loads. But when i but the PS3 into debug mode nothing happens.

Is there any thing to start in rockbox ?

what u mean? do u see 2 new folders? install package and etc?
did u follow this exactly?
How to boot PS3 in Debug:
Make sure there is no CD in the PS3
1) Hold Menu + Circle middle button for 6-10 seconds to restart (takes a couple of tries)
2) Select "PSGroove"
3) unplug the PS3 Power cord or flip the switch off (if PS3 Phat)
4) connect the iPod to the PS3 via USB
5) Plug in the power cord or flip the switch on
6) Power on the PS3 and press Eject multiple times (just to get it working)

you have to do this every time you want your PS3 to run in Debug mode.

The PS3 starts without the new folders and also on the ipod nothing happens.

Last week I have tried a Iphone 3G whitch works perfektly.

Is there any plugin to start in rockbox or something like this ?
