I can't insert the usb stick even AFTER the exploit is loaded. I'll have to try my hdd enclosure tonight. Leaving games in the internal hdd just can't be a long term solution because not only games reside in the same partition but also the installed game files are stored in there. Some game data could get up to 5gigs..

Hi Thanks for the reply, I have tried that quite a few times but it is still recognised as a "generic usb hub" rather than a "Xplain USB Gateway" and subsequently unable to load the driver.

Can someone explain(Who has already flashed this device) how to take out the little pins when I first get it..I dont want to take any chances that I might break them as I am taking them out so I want to do it correctly
Just use your fingernails, you wont break them.
I followed that guide to a T, but I get windows errors while trying to install the drivers. After I go into the dev mode, I do the update drivers and chose atmel_usb but then windows says that those drivers didnt install correctly (something to do with unsigned drivers).
I still see the AT90USB128 in the device manager, but with an exclamation. When I go to Flip software and chose OPEN, it says could not load the usb device.
Im using flip 3.4.2. if that makes a difference because the 3.4.1. is no longer offered on the website.
Any help would be appreciated.
hey guys, i have just ordered a micropendous2 atmega32u4 board from ebay.
even though it may be an atmega32u4, it is 8hz instead. please can someone tell me where to find a hex file appropriate for my board, or even create me a PSGRoove 1.1 patched version for this board. thanks alot
I have 3.4.1 installed on my computer..not sure about the issues you are having, but just by reading the instructions, taking out the pins and the jumpers and using something metal, wow this looks hard..using the software seems easy, but the other stuff, I just hope I can do this

About my problem it seems like windows 7 x64 didnt like it. But now i used win xp x32 and it seemed to work.
Thank goodness I have windows 7 32 bit, wont be as hard..the only thing I am afraid of is the pin issue..you talk ab out using an old cable..you mean a USB cable..I wish there was a youtube video or something showing exactly what to do in order to flash this thing..the software info seems pretty easy its the pin stuff that seems difficult, at least to me
