OK now I've tried Windows 7 64bit and 32bit flavors with the same error, unable to connect to the usb in flip.

I tried in xp but could not even get the usb drivers installed.

Hope it works ?

Looks like I'm going to have fun for the Extended Labor Day Weekend in the US!!!

I just ordered my XPlain Board Overnight and already have my 640GB Hard Drive!!!

Can't Wait to get it in the morning!!!!

Just found this info, maybe this is the problem?

AT90USB1287 cannot connect to FLIP
programming software to reprogram the
AT90USB1287 application section of the
flash.

No bootloader programmed in the
AT90USB1287

Upgrade to the AT90USB1287 with the
latest firmware using an external
programming tool such as the JTAG ICE
mkII.

Just ordered one of these from farnell, hopefully it does work, seems like it should. Its meant to be preprogrammed.

Interesting to see how you get on, probably wont get mine till monday

OK, Board is Revision 2 Bootloader 1.F.0

All working now down to SorrowUK what a guy, How the hell he found out what to do LOL
Basically the board needs resetting before driver is installed, at least for me it did.

He will be updating his amazing guide soon to show you the steps, pretty easy to follow but hard to find that info out on your own. I'll test now on the PS3 and report back later but I'm sure it will be fine.

At least quite a few more people can get these boards now as farnel have a few in (not for long LOL)

Ok tried the board, fully working on ps3.

The little light turns from green to red and then green, if it stays green it's worked.

107 of them left as well so be quick
