The orange lights on the side stay flashing orange. Its the little square light by the socket that you want to turn green.
My was red but then turns to green, however i cant see backup manager installed so i must of got a non patch hex
You have to put backup manager on a standard USB to install. Loads of vids on YouTube if your not sure how to do it

OK then my light (singular) did turn green so I am good to go. Now I need a very large 2.5" hd....whats the biggest 2.5" they make a 1tb?

I looked at at a 1tb but the size was 3 mm to thick as a standard ps3 hard drive is 9mm and this one is 12 mm. I bought a 640 gig, when formatted in the ps3 I lost just over a 100 gig as the ps3 partitions it. Hope tis helps

just wanted to know if most people leave the board pluged in all the time or if its better to remove it once you jailbreak it each time you power on?
just dont want to mess up my board after all the grief getting one.
