So the new 3.4.2 basically includes bogus drivers that won't work anymore. This is verified. If anyone would upload the 3.4.1 installer it'd greatly help jailbreakers in the future.

No hate here. Optic posted this in another thread that sony had contacted amtel and intentionaly broke there firmware. This is completely false and makes me angry because it confuses other users . He then lies in this thread and claims it's verified that it contains bogus drivers. Sorry I merely copied and pasted my comment with no clarification. Read my posts ,I usually try to be helpful. Basically he struggled with the psfreedom install and then blames a bogus driver(that sony had amtel tamper with). So now new user who are struggling, are wasting their time looking for 3.4.1 drivers instead of finding out what they did wrong. I did edit mt first post and remove the psfreedom part to avoid further confusion.

Well, I for one was not able to install the 3.4.2 drivers on my Win7 x64 Laptop. It said that the drivers were unsigned and wouldn't allow me to use them.
Instead of wasting my time I just tried it on my XP 32bit desktop. I ignored the warning about the unsigned drivers and it installed successfully.
N.B. You can load unsigned drivers in Win7 64 by pressing F8 upon boot and selecting "Disable driver signature enforcement.", but for me it was just simpler to use my XP box.
If it wasn't for the damn driver signing i'd be using my PS3 controller with my laptop.
Same here. 3.4.1 worked though.
edit: Here is the 3.4.1 full installer with JRE (different from the link in post 2).
