My latest app to simplify adding the certificate to flash.

And now make a backup of CA24.cer and put it either in /dev_hdd0/game/PUSH00000/USRDIR/files or on a usb stick you pick.

The file will be named CA24.cer.BAK.(Be sure to hang on to this)

You MUST use AsbestOS, Freeflash or dev_blind BEFORE using this to make flash writable. I probably could have added make flash writable but its been done by the devs of these apps, no need to reinvent the wheel...

Basically this will put the certificate on your ps3 for you so no messing with file managers. I don't know a whole lot about ssl but as far as i can tell all the certs that come with Charles are the same. This uses charles' certificate.

You still have to use some form of dns and charles to get on PSN, sorry.

    Please READ the readme.

Use I used this on my slim install and Drizzt's normal method on my phat PS3. Here is my problem both PS3's can go online at the same time. So I have a virtual PC running his tools as well and now both are online at once. Took a little leg work to get both the virtual PC and my laptop to share the connection properly but i am so so happy now as the night before the DNS stopped working I was going to add all my PSN content to my new PS3 bur waited and then I couldn't get it even though I bought $150 worth on my other deck. This is a lifesaver as I don't game online but i love to buy PSn content. New MVC3 characters here I come baby!!
    PS3 CECH-25001 Rebug 4.41.2 "Lite" 1tb iNt & 2tb eXT mM 4.40.00

Back online thanks to Primee for the legit PSID!!

I'm using the cert from drizzt. with the method from http://psx-scene.com/forums/f189/%5B...0-2-2-a-80594/ ([GUIDE] PSN BYPASS! Noob-Friendly! WORKING CFW 3.55 PSN BYPASS - PSN Update Bypass v0.2.2) and working like a charm.

    So no source?

I'd rather not run a program that is accessing dev_flash without an idea of the source is doing.

Doesn't anyone know the meaning or reasoning behind open source?

This "scene" is terrible at releasing source.

    Pretty please?

An app that touch flash MUST have source code for all
