Wierd video problem...

Everything was fine until last night. I had just updated to Hermes V4B and open manager 1.17, everything was still fine. One of my games crashed while I was playing it and when I turned the system off and back on again my video is flickering, and by that I mean I can see the screen for about a second and then a black screen for about a second.

I have tried restoring the PS3 system, formatting the drive even installing the firmware again but nothing has worked yet. Any help in figuring this out would be great. Hopefully someone has had this problem and fixed it.

Can you post a little more info:

PS3 model (Preferably model number) slim/fat?
Video connection method (HDMI/Component/Composite?)
TV being used?
USB dev board type?
Any other equipment involved.

PS3 slim connected with HDMI (doesnt flash with composite) to a LG LCD TV using a minimus with Hermes V4B. Its been working fine for over 2 weeks now and then argh... I have also tried the HDMI lead in my 360 and it works fine so I hope its not a hardware fault. Hope this helps and I can get back to hi-def gaming soon. Oh and I tried the holding the power button trick too, still flashing.

Try to unplug your HDMI cable for 4-5 seconds and then plug it in again with the PS3 working.
