whats the best way of updating games without connecting to the psn server? –
when i want to play game, some games say an update is available? now i can click and download and it will go through the official ps server
is there an alternative? i heard there is and how does it work
do i download the update seperately/save to a folder? but how do i apply that to the game in question...or does it do it automatically?
ive went to the brewology via the ps3 web browser, but it doesnt load properly and i can't click on the menu, the pages dont load, but thats what the instruction say.
am i doing sommat wrong? thanks
do you have JAVA installed on your PC ? if not then install it
ah so i have to do it via my pc and run ftp server on ps3? i think i understand now.
its just the instructions say go via the ps3 web browser...
Instructions: To use the store simply visit h**p://store.brewology.com in your PS3 Browser. When you find something you want make sure you have a USB storage device attached to your PS3. Click download and select the location to download to. Once back in the XMB you should be able to install the PKG without restarting the PS3.
That's exactly what I've done. Works like a charm. All you need to know is the game ID (i.e. BLUS30560 ). Locate the correct ID for the game, insert an external HD or thumb drive and download the update to the drive. Once it finishes go back to XMB and install the package. Piece of cake.
