    Hello all

I want to extend my hard drive for my PS3. I've got 250GB right now.
what is the max size I can upgrade to? does the ps3 have its limit?

also, can I just go and buy ANY 2.5" hard drive?

    thanks!

Any 2.5'' laptop drive that has a height of 9.5mm, yes. 13mm/1.3cm drives will not physically fit. I know people have installed 750GB drives and in that respect I am not aware of any limits. There is not meant to be much of a difference between 7200rpm and the slower drives.. Well, not enough difference to spend much more money. Also I read that 7200rpm drives void warranty, allthough I haven't checked it out properly. I know Sony recommend 5400rpm drives.
