What do I do?!
What do I do?! –

I'm a cheap-skate so I've been buying CECHC03 PS3s from eBay and cobbling them together and so far I have a working system except for a working Blu-ray drive.
I do have the correct logic board (i.e. I see the spinning clock hands) but even after repairing the advertised fault (mechanism was jammed) it and my other one fail to read discs.
They both take in discs fine but both click a bit but the disc does not spin so what do I do? What tests should I run to figure out what parts I need to replace? Or, do I need to tinker with some of the innards?
Any help anyone can suggest would be much appreciated; many thanks.

Try the laser assembly if you already haven't.

When you say try, do you mean shell out to buy a new one? Is this always the reason why discs don't spin? Cheers.

That or the motor, but I think you buy the whole thing as one unit. I've seen them go for as cheap as $25-$60 on various sites.

This is just it, are there test to distinguish just what the problem is?
If I do decide to just buy a whole new array is the code for it KES-400AAA or is it something else for CECHC03s? Thanks.
