    Anyone been using the WD Scorpio Blue as their internal Hdd as i am thinking about getting a 250gb one but i cant decide

    I upgraded the hard drive in my PS3 about 2 weeks ago with the 1TB WD Scorpio Blue drive.
    So far it has been working great but I wouldn't expect anything less from Western Digital.
    I should also mention I had to cut one side off the PS3's thin metal plate that screws to the hard drive to make it fit, but it's nothing you would see once the hard drive has been installed.

    you had to cut it for a 2.5 inch??

    Im using a WD 500gb Scorpio Blue internal & 1tb WD External

    Everything runs amazin... If not Western Digital get yourself a Samsung Drive

    Yes I did.
    One side on that metal plate hooks over top of the hard drive, that 1TB drive was a bit taller so I had to remove the side of that plate to make it work.

    Ah, surely I shouldnt have a problem seeing the one i ordered is a 500gb scorpio blue...and if so, im pretty handy with a dremel
