USB Drive Not Working –

Hi every one, i just got my 3TB usb 3.0 compatible with usb 2.0, i made a partition of 1.5TB and followed the guide to format it to FAT32 and still the PS3 won't read it, i'm trying to play video files from showtime, i have a 1TB usb that if i put the same vieo files in it it will play it with no problems, can sombody guide in the right direction.
PS: i can see all the videos in it with showtime but the won't play (no such file or directory) error

when you formated it did you make the fat partition primary and active....might not change anything but it's worth a shot

Yes, it is primary and active, the funny thing is that i got it working for a minute to test the video files, then it just stopped, that's when i partitioned it.

OK, now i re formatted the drive no partitions FAT32, tried a video and it worked, close the file tried open the file again and it didn't work, unplugged and re plugged, tried the file and it worked, for some reason this drive looses connection to the PS3 once you close the file is there anything else i have to do to keep it going once i plug it to the PS3?

Well i finally got it working, had to use hiren's cd to use another format utility not on quick mode.
