Ok so everywhere I see people saying how you have to go from orig firmware to geohots to waninkoko's to install multiman... this is horseshit ladies and gents... as I had an old 40gb fat laying around that was on orig 3.41 because I used a jig on it and then updated directly to waninkoko's 3.55 cfw and guess what, the install apps and the app home folder were both on there and i was able to install the 3.41 package of multiman.... stop wasting time flashing back and forth, just make sure your ps3 is compat with waninkoko's cfw and update

if u have 3.55 it is recommended u to the whole flashing crap

if u have 3.41 its ok to direct update

OFW 3.41 -> waninkoko's 3.55 cfw then install multiman 3.41 package

Most ppl are talking about how you have to flash from geohots to OFW and blah blah blah, its going to be the same result if you just go straight to waninkoko's. I can't confirm that you could go straight from ofw 3.55 to waninkoko's 3.55 but I'm sure it would work the same.

Because with the number of noobies reading these forums, simple isnt always enough to get things thru the thick skulls of many of them and a mini guides or even basic steps laid out will go a lot further.

All the posts I've been seeing are saying that if you update to GeoHot's first you won't be able to install package files under Waninkoko's 3.55. I can assure you that YES YOU CAN

I don't recommend any complete noob updating to waninkoko as they probably won't check the ps3 nand compatibility chart anyway.
