Is there any way to unrar files within the ps3 via FTP ?
Im asking this because i know it will takes less time to upload folders
to my ps3... less files to upload = less time to upload
Also another thing i noticed when you are uploading small files it takes a
lot longer than if it was bigger files to upload at once...
It would be great to see some kind of 7zip on ps3 :rolleyes:
Not yet, but 7-Zip is open source so hopefully someone will take the time to implement it on PS3.
hello, i have a question:
as ps3 detects on fat32 external hdd and in windows pc i cant copy files more than 4 gb on fat32 hdd, is there any way to copy files more than 4gb to external fat32 hdd.

To transfer large files (4gb+) you'd either have to use FTP and place them directly on the PS3's internal HDD, split them temporarily with a separate program THEN copy them to internal. Or use a NTFS external HDD with a backup manager that has NTFS support (Multiman 1.16.* for example)...
Try cuteftp, afaik it should let you do exactly that.
