Unlocking Copy protected saves?

Is there any way to unlock copy protected saves on PS3? Because I want to backup my saves but I have 3 games (Skate 2/3, Assassin's Creed II) that have copy protected saves that I can't copy, I have completed all of them so I would hate to loose them and my progress.

Copy "dev_hdd0/home/<your user number>/savedata/" to usb device. If You are on CEX OFW there's no way to do it other than send it to cloud service on SEN (PlayStation+ must be bought).

Ok but will that work if I reset my ps3, would I be able to install my CFO and copy the files back and they would work? Btw I'm on 3.55 kmeaw

Of course they will. After copy files back to HDD, you must rebuild database to show up on XMB.

This is the same for all user files (VMC, trophies etc).
