I think I am getting closer. I have to manually edit some edat files tonight. All the work I have done already leads me to believe that I will be able to fix psn content. All the pieces seem to be available.
Anyone else that wants to work on this should start on the edat file. Manually enter drm keys.
I have to go do some family stuff now but will continue tonight.
i think this will help those people who are on cfw and have lost their dlc activation/license and can't(obviously) connect to psn to reactivate them
I lost my 3TB array and am in process of recovery, once I get my complete set of keys back from it I'll send you a copy Warning. I think I have a more complete set and all of the keys are confirmed. One thing though, I was working with edat files a ways back in an attempt to get ps1 backups running using psn ps1 classic files; I failed cause I couldn't get the edat files unencrypted. Just a heads up, though a lot may have changed in the 2-3 months I've been away from the scene.
EDIT: They were in my backup file, thankfully. I'll PM you them now. If your working with anything revolutionary, you'll prolly need the set I have. If you need anything else specific to what your working on, PM me. I have access to quite a bit of stuff that isn't released yet.
hi, and what about the psn games like resident evil 1+2+3 ?
i realy would like to play them again ^^
I just re-read that post, your right, I was confusing them, lol. I've been outta the scene too long. But yeah, I sent Warning a complete set of all keys up to 3.56, drm and other, so he should have every key he needs to try and fix PSN content. I still remember that there was something preventing me from decrypting the edat.
EDIT: I just asked someone I was working with before and he refreshed my memory. Some edats hold the key in the games elf file, so it can't be decrypted with the pub drm keys.
Seems interesting; this has peaked my curiosity a bit. Unfortunately, I've been busy with my education lately, so I haven't had the time to take a look at all the information that's out there regarding the PS3.
Is the set Warning posted useful for working on reactivating legitimate DLC, or would I have to look for them in another way to hypothetically work on this as well?
I'd rather not ask for anything due to my relatively new status on this forum, and my lack of being active. Not to mention, I lack the necessary amount of posts to send PMs.
Seen this post yesterday morning after I had finished writing a literary analysis of a play; that was quite annoying, but I had to bookmark this page to gleam some information off of the replies.
Anyways, if I'm not able to obtain anything, I hope others will pick things up and work on it.
