Uncharted 3 backup questions

1. Is it possible to directly backup uncharted 3 to the internal harddisk of the ps3 without any kind of security checks ? ( or do we need to use a pc blu ray reader ? )
2. According to your knowledge, how many individual files are more than 4gb ? It would be great if its playable from external, because i have 40 gig ps3 fat
3. Say i am buying uc3 tonight, Will i be able to backup and ftping it into pc and replace eboot.bin to work ?or anything extra is being done....

1. Yes, using Multiman.
2. Your internal hard drive is too small, the game is larger than 40 GB. Looking at the public file listings there is an 8GB file in it and you will probably not be playing it from external either.
3. Yes that would work and is exactly how most people here should be using the fix.

You need a bigger internal PS3 HDD. Sorry man.

i think you have two options
-rip it to an external drive (then join the splited file on your computer) or ftp it directly to your PC, then unpack the psarc file to the (same name) folder,and play the game from external hard drive. i have extracted several PSARC files and they all worked fine.

option two
-pack it up on your PC then delete the 3d video's and all dialog other than English you can get it down to 28.5GB and FTP it back to your internal.

hi bootro- i cannot rip it to external harddrive with ntfs format, because it wont place its files as its found that one file is more than 4gig. will multiman detect my external ntfs drive ?

format the external harddrive to fat 32 then use PS3Splitter to plit the 8GB file after that put the game on your external drive use mm let it install the file to your ps3 play the game
