Unable to restore Blu ray playback with DRLTOOLS
Unable to restore Blu ray playback with DRLTOOLS –
Hey guys and girls
I need your help on how to restore my blu ray playback.
I downgraded from 3.5 to 3.41 and it disabled my blu ray playback.
I have used DRL tools to create the DRL files from the last blu ray i watched (inception) i them put them on my USB stick in the correct folder when i go to DRLcopy i see my USB light flashing but when i check my USB stick i found it created 2 files called dev_flash3_DRL1.bak and dev_flash3_DRL2.bak without knowing if it actually copied the DRL files and of course its still not working. Is the DRL copy supposed to create backup files? isnt DRLBACKUP supposed to do this?
I have tried going to the instruction webpage but the link doesnt work hence why im here.
Can anyone help me or give suggestions?
Does anyone have a copy of the full instructions found on this page?
Do the files have to be renamed from dev_flash3_DRL1.bin and dev_flash3_DRL2.bin to DRL1 and DRL2?
Any help would be great!
First off you might have played a movie before inception that updated the mkb(drl's) for your system. There is a web page somewhere that I can't find the link in my cell right now but I think its by a guy named aarod ? Use google and search for his list of drl's and see if maybe you played a bluray with the same level. 19mkb as inception.
Second try using a file manager to put the drl files in the right place which is dev_flash3/data revoke. You should see other files named ocrl , crl and srm there might already be a drl file there you will need to open the drl file and replace the two drl files with your new drl's. I would suggest awsome file manager for the job, also using awsome file manager you will need to press select to get read/write access.
