Two quick questions
Two quick questions –
Hi, love this site. Been hanging around for awhile and now it's my turn to ask a few questions.
First: I could've sworn that I remember from early on in the CFW days that simply turning on your PS3 while connected to the internet would send information about what you had run to the giant crab...which in turn could potentially cause your PS3 to be banned. Ie, you didn't even need to connect to PSN to have problems.
So my question is, was I dreaming all of this or is this correct?
Second: I've grabbed a few things from the internet and some of them were packaged into .pkg files instead of being the normal directory hierarchy. Due to FAT32 size restrictions, these were split into multiple .pkg files. Can I simply extract all of the files from the separate packages, get rid of the duplicates, put them all together and install them on my external hard drive to install/run them? One example is Prototype. It has 2 separate .pkg files. It's coming up as NPUB30389.
Thanks, and keep up the great work, everyone!
Oh, and DeanK, you rock!
1. Yeah you were dreaming, in order to be banned one must connect to psn.. Run homebrew while connected, play high profile games like cod, or cheat. 2. Just throw both packages onto the root of your external, click install packages and install both.
Awesome...thx for the quick response.
