Ok when i noticed this i dicovered that there where no files/folders where they should be.. I have tried evrything from creating (found some codes)/ editing the xml files but the icon still isn't there.. as a result of my editing, my ps3 downloaded the tv icon pictures (itv player etc).. atleast now i know i'm getting closer to to see it working.. anyone know of any solutions? (i thought i might aswell ask )

EDIT..(should have updated this ages ago) the solution was to regularly use psn.. (it would automatically install may take a while tho) also i copied the main folder.. //dev_hdd0/tmp/explore/xil/tv/ deleted and restored it back again.. it works fine

Try connecting to the PSN store, then restarting your PS3. From there, my iPlayer, ITVPlayer and 4OD had reappeared without a sweat.
I only have a kitchen because it came with the house.

I understand. My actual TV icon had disappeared, although I didn't have to edit the XMLs to get it to work. I'm not sure about the problem tbh.
