hello im new to the website so don't kill me if i ask something overasked i been reading around and i learned a bunch about the hard drives.
im having this dilemma
i want to get an internal hard drive to rip the games into it.
there is many possible options.
internal laptop hard drive inside ps3
dock to connect bigger size hard drives
PS3 HD Hard Disk Drive Extender+USB hub Vertical stand - eBay (item 170600285983 end time Feb-16-11 19:57:23 PST)
external hard drive
i want to get a internal hard drive of maybe 1TB or more but i heard the limitation is the size of the height which is like 9.8mm i believe.
the biggest they make that would fit is a 750gb internal laptop drive.
i heard though there is a mod you can do to your ps3 internal cage and a blue scorpio of 13mm will fit which is basically flatten hell out of it and put it in.
Hard Drive Upgrade Guide - PS3Trophies.org
so basically the summary is.
which one you think is the best to have intenal ps3 hard drive or to have the dock with the ps3.
if i choose one of above how do you guys put the game images that you guys get from the internet to the hard drive.through ftp or can i connect external hard drive and copy to internal hard drive?
any help is appreciated.
