are they remaking ff7? from ps1?

Thought i read somewhere that this was happening. Is it true? I m trying to get ff7 but im on 3.55 and cant get on web and i dont wanna buy the game for 60 bucks.. What can i do?

They had a demo running on the now failing PS3. But Imagine Nintendo-Square-Enix (Like it should have been ). FFVII would atleast be brought up

Goodlord, look at what your saying. There is none of the original staff left from 7 at square, back when enix was doing work with tri ace them were some good RPG's if I do say so myself. They did that movie at E3 HELLA long time ago as a show off, and then they decided to milk it for people. I want SE to put world maps back in games we havent had a world map from them since they bought up Enix and that was ff9.

I am simply stating the wii 2 is supposed to be able to run what ps3 can, and nintendo is losing money, they need a partner, and who better then the partner they lost many years ago... imagine FFVII in a world with the Nintendo-CD (aka PSX), or without out either and running on the N64. I know I remember those preview clips!

I am on the bandwagon for a remake for sure, I read around a lot about it a few months back and it seems like a non starter to be quite honest.

However, I would buy a wii2 to get my hands on a remake, I think the game is that powerful in nostalgia that a fair few people would follow suit. I also think that the new generation of gamers who haven't played it could still appreciate the gameplay and story as much as back then, but the graphics and controls just need a re haul.

I don't think it will happen, but it's nice to speculate no? =)

i remember once some group was maden a 3d version of chrono trigger
exactly the same system and text but with full 3d maps and chars
that time the squareenix was only squaresoft and canceled that project
the idea everyone think was square interested and remake in the same way
but the only thing i see was that garbage ct for ds

no idea what you're bitching about gamecube had the best graphics processor of that generation and Twin Snakes was a fantastic game.
