In a completely confusing announcement Sony decided that the Move peripheral needs to be more open to the public (following shortly in the trails of Microsoft's Kinect getting an open-source community).
PlayStation Move development coming to PCs - News at GameSpot
Sony details plans for opening up the SDK for PC use. So they want us to manipulate the Move but not the console itself?

Sony realized that their Move is inferior to the Kinect.. But Kinect got much more attention because of Microsoft's claim that it was a very secure device with many countermeasures.
Turnrs out Microsoft was talking out of their ass (not like it's new) and had no real security... lol
The move on the PC could be cool... But unless a true SDK comes out with it.. It's just a glorified Wii remote with a ****ing light in my eyes...
