Sony remotely disabling backupmanagers?
Sony remotely disabling backupmanagers? –

so Im on 3.55 kameaw using the DNS bypass for now but im having this strange problem and im not sure if its to do with gaia manager the one with the lv2 patch implemented or if sony is doing something from the outside let me explain.
Occasionally when I start my console and run gaia manager it will just give me a black screen and this is while connected to psn now remember this is the one that is supposed to be patched with lv2. So out of curiosity I tried disabling my Internet connection and low and behold it starts up every time with the connection disabled. Now as soon as I re enable the internet and restart my console and try again gaia manager once again gives me a blank screen and I can only get it working by running the lv2 patcher which is odd because its supposed to be patched automatically. Now is it possible that sony could some how disable back up managers remotely by somehow restricting access to lv2 or am I just unlucky? I thought I should also add that this also happened when not using the DNS bypass. I have yet to test multiman so Ill be testing it today. this ps3 is a cech-2002a 120gb NZ model

connected to psn as in signed in or just connected to the internet ? because if you sign in to psn before loading up gaia manager, then u could get gaia to hang, or the ps3 to freeze, sometimes atleast

You should not be signing on PSN with a bm or having your PS3 with a live internet connection at all. I hope you have read extensively to know that going online is a big NO, NO!
