I would like to buy this HDMI cable "Sony DLC-HD20P" which I have heard cost around like $50 I think, but checking ebay I found this cable at a low price of 18 to $20 american dollars.
Here is the link so you can check it:Sony-DLC-HD20P
I'm not sure if this cable is original Sony or it is a chinese copy because in the box I can see something write in "chinese".
Does anyone know if this product could be fake or have heard about this product?
Any tips that can help me to figure out if the product is original Sony or not.
Help me just with this product (no other), please.
Thanks in advance.
Sony is an asian company, most of their stuff will have English, French, Spanish, and Japanese/chinese etc.. it looks legit to me, but why spend $50 on that? I'm using a $15 HDMI (cost to make) cable that came with my TV... works fine.. more money doesn't mean it's better you know.
But it's your dosh, like I said seems legit to me, go for it.
Its always funny when you go to the HiFi shop to buy a new TV or something that needs HDMI hookup and the sales man tries sell you the expensive $100 hdmi cables, saying you need the High quality ones to get a good picture.
Thing is most folk be leave it and fork out for them.
Like all things digital, its all or nothing. I use $6 3 meter hdmi cables from my local electronics store and there fine for 1080p and I have 2 connected, making a 6 meter run. Maybe the expensive ones would be better for a longer run.
haha yeah, I went to XsCargo (sells bulk and refurb stuff) bought a second HDMI Cable for $5 with the 'gold plated connector' and it runs flawlessly, and is about 6-8 meters in length, I bought a couple of them, one for my Dad's TV for use with his laptop, and one for when I travel with the PS3/360 so I don't have to go behind my TV. Sad thing about the sales people are.. over half of them believe more dosh is better quality, I facepalmed when the sales guy from BestBuy tried to argue that fact with me when I bought my PS3
