Sly 4

I was just wondering is anyone else having a problem with Sly Cooper Thieves in Time on Rogero 4.3 latest version?

I was using XCUS00002 GAME ID from Duplex, however it keeps throwing an error :800100009

MM tries to patch it, however even after patching the SFO to 4.30 (since Rogero is only spoofed to 4.31) as MM suggests it still gives the error.

I have not had this problem with any other games. I am running this from ext, with 1 split big file, but I wouldnt think this would cause the issue. I will transfer to internal tomorrow and see though.


Any thoughts?

There's your problem.

These XCUS game ID's that have been surfacing lately don't play right. If you see that, don't waste your time with it. The PSN version works fine on Rebug 4.21.2 without any patching so it's a bad dump issue with that XCUS one

Edit: also be advised that you should get help with your bootlegs wherever you downloaded them. There is no pirated material here and members will not help people pirate here

I was able to rip the disc no problem.

and so does the legit purchased Sly PSN game. You're going to get what you paid for and since that duplex version wasn't paid for then you can't expect anything out of it

@indirect76 I have a broken blu-ray player and cannot rip the disc myself. That is why I resort to bootleg copies. I realize this site does not support piracy, and for the most part I have owned the games before I downloaded them. $40 buck at target wasnt a bad deal. But if I cant play it, becomes a waste of money to me.
@BahumatLord I personally hate buying the PSN version as it takes up space on my internal and I am against buying stuff without a physical backup which is why I dont normally look at PSN versions.

Got the game from a non-site, I dont belong to rip-sites just needed a rip this time, and I thought I would ask troubleshooting here are people hear have always been nice and I trying to help others when they have problems. I really wish I still lived near friends in Cali, and I would have them rip my disc on their box, but alas I moved to GA and everyone I know here is an Xboxer. Anyone in SE GA have a PS3 I can rip on? LOL

I didn't realize the XCUS versions have been bad lately, never seen them before in fact. Thanks for that info. I was wondering why it didnt match the gameid even though it is labeled US. I wonder what the xcus stands for?


Well if I cant find anyone to rip it for me, I will just have to bear it and buy the PSN version I guess. I havent been online PSN in a while, last I heard people were getting banned left and right. so I stayed off. What are the odds I stay alive (not banned) during a download of a 15 GB game. LOL or is it safe to log on just to buy, it just seems like a long time to be logged in is all.

Maybe I should speak in generic terms.

Has anyone tried playing a legit ripped game on Rogero 4.30 latest version and gotten the MM warning for a 4.31 game? I have one game that works fine DMC (4.31) without needing the patch for my rip. But another throws the error 80010009, which was what MM predicted. However whether I let MM patch or not I run into the error. It has a big file that was split, but other similar to that have been fine. Maybe it is a combo between 4.31 and big files? Or maybe it is a bad rip. It has a XCUS title name which is weird too. I am going to try to transfer to internal as a last resort before reripping.

Any thoughts?
