Hi im trying to replace my slim blu ray drive motherboard as son thought it would be fun to stick coins in the drive slot. Blew what i assume to be a fuse on the board. I ordered a replacement and started to remove the 8 pin chip from the new board and lifted two solder pads. Im trying to find out if there are any alternative points i can solder to as where the lines run to on the big chip i guess id call it are very tiny and i dont want to bridge them. Its a BMD-061 board btw

Follow the traces back from the pads you lifted. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can re-build the traces/pads.

Well then follow the traces back from the lifted pads and see where they lead to, wherever they terminate can be used as an alternative point....
