He may be trying to do the right thing, but he is going about it the wrong way and he has gotten some of the premises wrong. Posting a gazillion threads about the same thing is definitely the wrong way(TM), and Sony does indeed have perfectly legal right to ban people from using PSN and they don't even need any reason for that. PSN is a service, it is not a quantifiable physical or virtual product and unless you have made a legally binding document signed by both parties clearly declaring all the different reasons why or whom they can ban you really have no legal standing whatsoever. Petitioning about it won't help.
