Save Game Data

I have installed a new HDD into my PS3 and FTP'd the savegame directory from my old HDD with all my data in. I have done the reverse of what I did to get it off the old HDD but for some reason there are no saved games under the save game data menu, am I missing something?

Yeah, you have to use the backup data utility on the PS3 and then use restore w/ your new HD.

I had trouble backing up using that utility some of the saved games it couldnt copy so I used FTP. Is there no other way of restoring the data?

I haven't JB yet so i don't know if this info is correct but:

1. Have You copy saves into save data for your user id (i.e 00000001)?
dev_hdd0/home/00000001/savedata/

2. If ID is correct for your account, have you try copy it by XMB from dev_usb0/?
