Can someone confirm that you can swap say 40gb/80gb ps3 laser drive for a 60gb drive? I want to swap the single laser in my 60gb to the dual laser thats in a 40gb/80gb, I assume as long as you have the logic board that goes with the dual laser this is possible.
put simply is there a way to get a drive from a 40gb/80gb to work in a 60gb?

after a bit of research it looks like 80gb models were sold with pata and sata, anything over bmd-006 is sata.
