Remarry bluray to original ps3

Hello,

I wanted to see if I could remarry the bluray on my old ps3 that bluray broke on years ago. So I took the bluray out of my working ps3(both fat) to see if I could do it before buying new drive. Well I kept getting errors about "disk can not be played" and gave up.

So I put the bluray drive back in my old(good) ps3 to watch a movie and it will not recognize the disk. Now it does not even show that its spinning in the xmb. My ps3 is firmware 4.41 and when I remarry it to broken ps3 it was 3.41. Did I make the drive only good for the old broken one? If not how do I get it back to working on good system please?

if you married the logic board off your good ps3 to the old broken 1 then it will no longer work on the other 1 and im sorry to say you will have to downgrade that console to be able to remarry the logic back to it. You should do abit of research before you jump in lets just say lesson learned.
