Rebug 3.55 CFW Spoofer Problem

Firmware: Rebug 3.55 CFW

Problem: Can't seem to get 4.11 Spoofer to install.

Screen goes black and then takes me back to xbm.

Any idea on why this is? I have reinstalled CFW and still not able to spoof it.

you get kicked back to the xmb immediately after running or after using the options in the menu? After the menu it's just what it does. You need to install, then activate (2 commands). Check your system settings

I have checked my system settings still on 3.55 there is no console restart just straight back to xmb and says at the top quit game no request event.

sorry, I didn't really read your first post. You can't use the rebug spoofer on rebug firmware - strange, I know. Here's what you need to do. Since you've already tried running it you'll need to do the following so you don't get a red screen.

1. reflash your 3.55.2 rebug firmware
2. install the .7 update
3. run the .7 update from the xmb
4. look in your package manager in your hard drive for Rebug Selector 1.6.1. Install it and run it
5. Follow on screen instructions to set for Rebug mode
6. Quit and check your system settings again. It should say 4.11 now

with F*ckPSN . You can also do it with a modified spoofer by PSIta, but There are several reports that it's causing semi-bricks on rebug firmware. I would strongly suggest you take the time and set up F*ckPSN correctly. It's what I'm using and I have absolutely no trouble with going on PSN
