Really Odd PS3 Game Issues...So far with Eternal Sonata, House of the Dead Overkill, and Star Ocean –

I'm using 3.55 kmeaw CFW and I use the newest Multiman 2.09.02. I've tried 2.07 also and got the same errors. What could be causing this?
Online it shows that Eternal Sonata works using the BD Mirror option..and it does...then when it gets to the first point in the game where it requires loading (like after a battle) it just stays stuck on loading.
Star Ocean doesn't start the game, just installs the game data and trophies that it does normally on start like it should but then...never starts up. Whether I use hermes and copy it over or install it to the internal HDD.
And house of the dead overkill I have has the fixed eboot to play but it's soooo choppy and the audio is like 10seconds out of sync... I've just been getting odd problems with games and I haven't been seeing it anywhere.
Is it something with kmeaw? Or something I'm overlooking? I've tried fixing it for a few weeks now. =\
I've also tried a different hard drive for Eternal Sonata receiving the same problem so it shouldn't be the hard drives.

I solved eternal sonata and HOTD by changing cfw to REBUG. (Maybe a fresh new firmware fixed it?)
I still can't get Star Ocean to work off of internal or external. =\ It's a huge bother
