Quickest way FTP PS3 to pc

I have black ops backed up on my ps3 by gaia manager. But i now want to send black ops from my ps3 to my comp. I found the games files in FTP and started downloading them threw FTP, but it was taking forever!! is there any quicker way of doing this that i dont kno of?

How would i save it to the external drive? r u suggesting i use awesome file manager to copy and paste it to my external drive?

wow these replies are not helping guys!

saying external to get post count up?
saying gigabit to get post count up?

it doesnt help anyone!

you can try either checking firewall is not blocking ports and ip address and most importantly ftp client.

or use an external hdd fat32 formated problem is 4gb is the limit and you need to split any files over 4gb!

I am thinking of switching from fat32 transfer to ftp just becuase ftp speeds when working at best are 5x faster than usb!
