(Question) How to play Ps1 games on Ps3?

Hi there, quick question. I have looked all around this site and other and have been unable to find a definitive answer to my question so I was hoping someone here could help! I am trying to play Ps1 games on my 4.30 Rogero CFW slim. My Ps1 games are in .BIN format and I was wondering how to play them, in general as well as off of the Ps3's internal hard drive. I put them on a portable hard drive and thought maybe multimans emulator would recognize it, but no luck. Can someone please help me sort this out? Thanks!

Still no luck. I placed the .BIN games in a folder labelled "PSXGAMES" like it says to do, and when I check it still says there are no Psx games. Would I perhaps have better luck if I tried it with an .ISO instead of a .BIN version ?

Try renaming the folder to 'PSXISO'. Are you rescanning with multiman?

OK, I'l try renaming the folder and using an .ISO version this time. Yes I tried rescanning and looking through the ROM menus each time. *edit* Still nothing, even with an .ISO. The game has 3 files, the .ISO, a SUB and a CCD, does this matter?

For whatever reason I can however, get the exact same game to play if I burn it to a CD (tried it and it works)

Anyone? I can get .ISO format games to play by burning them, but I would still really like to be able to play .BIN format because all the roms i get seem to end up being .BIN. I even tried converting it to .ISO but that still didn't work.
