I'm running on 3.41FW PS3.

I'm thinking to change to my internal 2.5" 360GB HDD to 3.5" 1TB HDD.
I got the SATA Male to ESATA Cable.

From what I understand is that the PS3 maximum recognizable HDD size is 1TB. So what type of HDD in 3.5" that it can support, as there so many types.

I know that there's 3GB and 6GB type of 3.5" Drive, and there's 5400rpm, 7200rpm, so which of this that the PS3 will support... if there's other, please do tell.
