Well I read this at some forum and I was wondering if all of this is completely correct.
Someone said the following:
"The only limitation PSgroove had, freedom etc was the fact that it couldn't run with firmware 3.55 or downgrade, but once done with it purpose there were no limitations, the console entered into a debug mode and from there we have complete access to the hardware, besides you can run unsigned firmware"
I know that we can't do anything with 3.55 but what about with the rest of this statement, is all correct?
Thanks in advance.
Not quite sure I fully understand the statement being made but its not completely true.
PSGroove only allows access to LV2, which is game OS. It allows to run unsigned code like a debug unit plus a few other things. It never has allowed to run unsigned firmware or full hardware access, LV1 (Hypervisor) needs to be compromised to allow full hardware access.
