    Hey All,

With the ability now for our PS3's to play our backup PSX games, I thought I would ask to see if anyone knew how to convert the old save games over to the .psv format. Most memcard readers and converters were made for the emulators, but very tutorials I've seen out there will allow you to do it to .psv format without the use of a PSP or memory card adaptor. There are a lot of save games on gamefaqs, but a good amont of them are in .gme (dexdrive) format.
I don't currently have a PSP or card adaptor, so I thought I'd ask around to see if there was any new way of doing it.
I can get the files to .gme, .mcs, .mcr and so on, just not to .psv (which of course would go into the usbroot/PS3'EXPORT folder)

I have that program, but the file I have is from an old dexdrive and is in GME format. How would I get it to the ps3 properly, or will it load in that formt.
Sorry trying to learn as much as I can on this but so far, not having much luck

Cut the DEXDrive header and You'll get the raw 1:1 mc image (exactly 128KB). Rename it to *.VM1 (case sensitive), put with others vmc and rebuild database.

You can also rename it to *.mcr and look in ePSXe if it's work - for test purposes (much handy than transfer it to PS3 and reb db).

    That did it
was able to use memcardrex to add multiple .gme and individual games to an mc file then just added the .VM1 to the end and FTP to the folder. I had to rename the card to the internal memory card 1 and actually play the game for the files to show up for some reason but copied them over to a blank VMC once I did that.
    Thanks for the help!
