Update: Well i can confirm it does re-marry the logic board but i haven't been able to find a working bluray drive in all my 6 BR drives
LOL 3 are with dual lenses other are just broken i think, ima get a working one and try to make it work so it will confirm that this technique
works 100%, right now i can confirm @ 90% lol since that swirlling stuff up there is working with one of the drives...
If anyone else is able to do it and confirm it would be nice.
Just to check then, if my BD-Drive lens is knackared, if I do the re-marrying, I should at least be able to boot homebrew, correct?
Just as a test to see if the marrying worked.
You should at least load also demo of games and homebrew i think.
Hope this will work please someone report if this method work and step by step guide to do the marriage.
Thanx a lot
I've just gone from 3.50 to 3.41 and it's no re-married and I have those lines too.

EDIT: Went to 2.10 in service mode to legit 3.41 in XMB and nothing. all the lv2self's have the same CRC that I've seen, so I'm thinking it must be something to do with the console, or payloads. Hoping my E3 card will do it (using a Maximus right now)

The dies cannot currently be "remarried" to the motherboard. When $ony do it, they have the ps3 hooked to a PC and that sends and receives info from their servers to marry them up.
Right. I wonder what happened with SnoopDo2G then? It may have been a different problem that got fixed by doing the service upgrade, although I have read other users accounts of this method working.

Probably a million miles off, but I'll see what the E3 dongle brings. I can live in hope and won't be too gutted that a £30 PS3 can't be revived
Like snoop said, don't junk it just yet, There is a way to remarry. during Downgrade Process. But as of right now if you use PLayon Media center I plays TONS of media. I keep the one im working on the logic board for in the bedroom to stream netflix and movies and whatnot.
I did have one that rebuilt the BR Revoke list.. but it still didnt work. It's got to do with the Self file and/or the PUP. im almost sure of it.
