PS3 Slim not turning off completly (Power light blinking green)
PS3 Slim not turning off completly (Power light blinking green) –

I fell asleep watching a movie, and when I woke.. PS3 was still on.. no image on the screen, even my tv didn't auto power off after 5 minutes of no signal (like it should)
I've googled and still havent found WHY it did that, I was able to replicate it six or seven times, one person said turn HDMI control off.. I did, and voila it turns off.. the only thing I can think of that I've changed was turning the internet off on the PS3.
Wondering if anyone has had a similar problem, or knows why.
PS3 Slim 120gb.
Edit: Also when turning it on, the screen pops up that you would normally see for any messages (game update etc) with the spinning clock and disappears, doesn't say anything just appears for about a second or less

Turn off remote play power on.
It might be a JB thing, it happened to me once. If it doesn't happen every time, then it's an error and you can't do anything about it.

It's odd, it hasn't happend before, It wasn't even in Jailbreak mode which is what puzzles me the most (it was plugged in just not activated) but I'll try turning HDMI control on again and Remote Play Power off, and if all else.. enabling the internet too xD

I turned HDMI control on but Remote Power off, and it shut down, from trolling around google I saw that it's because something was running that was preventing it from shutting down, but either way the problems resolved, for a bit I was worried she was gonna YLOD on me because I was playing the PS2 more then the PS3
Issue resolved, thanks for the help
